The second tip is all about signings, getting that player you want without it impacting your transfer budget.

How To Increase You’re Wage Budget Without Lowering Your Transfer Balance

It’s a predicament that most of us face in most transfer windows on FM, you are about to pull of an awesome signing and the dreaded question is asked.

“Do you want to adjust your wage/transfer budgets to sign this player?”

Unfortunately for you the choice is usually yes but many people click that button, only to realise that after paying the transfer fee and the ridiculously high signing on fees for player and agent their club is in the red, not to mention now having maxed out the wage budget.

Despite the obvious ways around this, selling players, there is a way that many people don’t think about, a way that makes complete sense.

Ditch old players or reserve players in the final year(s) of their contract.

A great example of this are players like Jamie Carragher, sitting in the Liverpool team rotting, probably won’t get a game after you have signed Subotic and co but will still be drawing his £80k a week until his contract runs out, there is little or no hope of selling this scouser.

But if you terminate or mutually agree a termination you can release that £80k a week straight in to your wage budget and are now more than capable of affording the player.

It also does not matter what the cost of terminating the contract is, this will not come out of your clubs transfer balance.
